what does it mean when ones car/house have been egged with a red egg?
This has recently happened to a friend, and I was just wondering what the significance of the red egg was. I’ve heard that it has something to do with mexican curses/witchcraft, but haven’t been able to find any information on it.
nor I – best a quick search came up with was the chinese one-month celebration & the Greek Easter tradition. I did manage to find one hex that calls for a guinea hen egg boiled with Goofer dust and cayenne pepper in rainwater – supposedly makes you sterile, but I wouldn’t rely on it, obviously. It might be something entirely different in another tradition, though
